Global hair coloring organization, Kolour Kulture, is the catalyst for the Texture vs Race movement - a movement designed to empower industry hair colorists with confidence, knowledge, and the skill set to overcome fears related to servicing clients with hair textures different from their own. Many salon professionals experience trepidation when confronted with clients of diverse textures and this workshop offers insight and skills into how to turn this fear into positive, technique-focused energy. During this transformative workshop, incorporating a panel discussion, texture theory, and a highly interactive round-robin style of hands-on work, you will have an opportunity to execute techniques on each model. You will have the opportunity to practice your color, cutting, styling, and blow-drying textured hair techniques right in this workshop. Led by some of the most successful multi-textured hair specialists and colorists in the industry, the goal of this workshop is for you to leave with the confidence to welcome all textures of hair to your chair and service anyone beyond your comfort zone – and, increase your skills and boost your bottom line as well!
